rehabilitation therapies.

But we’re not ones to rest on our laurels. We’ve focused our staffing and financial
resources on innovation…constantly creating new ways to improve the living experience
and therapy outcomes of short-stay patients and longer-term residents.
Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation Center provides Long Term Care for those individuals
who have serious functional and cognitive disabilities, medical problems and who
require more formal 24 hour nursing care..
Whether your goal is to return home after therapy or a short-term stay, or to live
as independently as possible as a longer-term resident, we’re committed to helping
you reach your goal.
An individualized plan of care is developed and constantly updated for each resident
with input from families, nurses, dietary staff, activity director and physicians.
Meals and special diets are planned by a Registered Dietician and prepared under
the direction of a qualified Food Service Manager. A wide range of therapeutic recreational
activities are scheduled seven days a week.
Construction was recently completed on a kitchenette in our rehabilitation gym with
the use of the Wii game system for interactive balance activities; visual tracking;
in addition to an innovative approach rather than the traditional therapy program.
